Master or therapist?
A master title says something about Reiki training, not automatically about someone's quality as a practitioner. Experience, presence and a professional basis also matter, such as membership of a professional body like the BATC.
What to look for in a practitioner
- Training and lineage (for example Usui Shiki Ryoho).
- Membership of a professional body, which matters for insurance in the Netherlands.
- An intake conversation and clear agreements.
- Whether you feel safe and at ease.
